Evan Hareras

Founder, Managing Partner

As Managing Partner for PVOne Capital, Evan is charged with managing the day to day operations of its Tax Lien, Real Estate and Technology companies. Prior to joining Pine Valley One (the tax lien business) in 2018, Evan was the founder and COO of Akouba Inc. Akouba was acquired by Velocity Solutions, an HIG Capital company and continues to operate as a cloud-based small business lending platform for community and regional banks. Evan was the chief architect of Akouba’s data-driven underwriting and risk-rating models. After going Pine Valley One, Evan implemented these models and techniques into the Tax Lien company, helping to grow its assets under management from $8M to $25M in 18 months. Evan has been building companies his whole adult life, founding and later selling his first company at 22, iSocket. ISocket, founded in Silicon Valley, was the first programatic advertising platform, automating buy/sell advertising relationships to eliminate many of the errors and overhead costs that plague the manual media sales. iSocket was acquired by RUBI in 2016.

Owen Schnaper

In addition to his role as a board member and founder of PVOne Capital, Owen Schnaper currently serves as the chairman of Prime Home Health care, a home healthcare business in the Midwest. Most recently, Owen served as the CEO of AFN, a third party logistics firm. Owen led the sale of AFN to Globaltranz, a multi-billion dollar logistics brokerage with Owen assuming the role of Executive Vice President. Owen began his career in finance with positions of increasing responsibility with AEI and Robert W. Baird. Following his finance career, Owen co-founded Salmon Cove, a classic apparel brand. Owen earned a BS in finance from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Andrew Dunn

Andrew Dunn has been involved in the financial service industry for over 24 years.  In 2008 he was the cofounder and CEO of Frontline Asset Strategies, which has been successfully working with large banks and financial institutions ever since.  More recently, he is the CEO for Kraken Holdings which has brought creative products to the lending market to assist lenders on both loan servicing and underwriting.  Andrew is also involved in many startups and sits on multiple boards both in and out of the financial services industry. 

Charles Drost

CFO, Investor & Banking Relations

Charles Drost spent 18 years in the banking industry working with privately held businesses in the middle market. In his years of experience Charles has worked with all different industries including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, real estate and many service industry businesses. Charles has spent time on various boards including the Arlington Heights Library and The Lutheran General Hospital Young Professional Board. Charles earned his degree in International Business and German from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. He earned his MBA from DePaul’s Kellstadt School of Business with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance.

Nancy Gorman

Controller

Nancy Gorman has over 15 years of experience as an accounting and financial professional.  She started her career working in internal audit and later would lead financial reporting teams in a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications and retail.  Nancy’s primary area of focus continues to be in financial reporting and analysis. Prior experience and responsibilities include leading closing cycles, production of financial statements including consolidated multi-currency statements, preparation of quarterly board reports, and research on accounting pronouncements/standards updates. Nancy joined Pine Valley One Real Estate in 2015 prior to joining the PVOne Capital team. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with emphasis in accounting and finance, and has been a licensed CPA since 2003.
